While Dr. Lillie is proud of his work in optometry, his greatest joy is family life with his wife, Ashley, and their four children. Sundays often mean time with grandparents and cheering on the Detroit Lions. The family loves adventures that end at a favorite restaurant—pineapple on pizza included. In summer, you’ll find him outdoors hiking, running, or relaxing on the beach. He hopes to take his family west to climb a few Rocky Mountain fourteeners, sharing the perspective that comes from those awe-inspiring views.
DR. LILLIE’S HISTORY & EXPERIENCE
Dr. Nick Lillie, O.D., leads the optical team at Family Vision Optical. He graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of his class at the Illinois College of Optometry. He has trained across a broad range of optometric disciplines and treated ocular disease at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System and Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Affairs Hospital in Michigan. His clinical background also includes experience at the Cornea Center for Clinical Excellence, the Cheyenne Vision Clinic, The Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and the Illinois Eye Institute’s Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinic. He brings this wide-ranging training to Allendale, supporting Family Vision Optical with clinical insight and a persistent drive to improve care.

Dr. Nick Lillie is an optometrist and the founder of Family Vision Optical. He diagnoses and treats the full range of ocular surface conditions and regularly speaks on behalf of the advanced dry eye technologies used in clinic.
